Helping Mothers & Fathers with Breast Cancer

Hello my name is Lisabet Buesing, and welcome to my web-page. Let me begin by telling you a little bit about myself.
I am a 25 year old single mother of a beautiful 6 year old boy named Damian Michael. At the young age of 22, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and have since had the cancer spread to my brain and lungs. The past three years have been incredibly difficult for me. I now know first hand what it is to have cancer, hold a job, raise a child, pay endless bills, and face my own mortality everyday.
Some wonderful and very supportive people I know suggested that I set this foundation up so that they could help me with my mountain of bills that continue to pile up, I began to think... I thought -Why couldn't I use this foundation to help raise money for other young single mothers facing the same experiences that I'm facing? I know how they're feeling. Believe me, there are days when it's hard enough just to get out of bed. So I have decided that I am going to turn this into my life's mission, to help other young mothers fight this terrible disease. Even if it's some small bill that I could help them with. I know the burden it takes off of you to have one less thing to worry about that day.
Words cannot express the gratitude I feel. So many wonderful people have come into my life that have wanted to help me. It has started a fire inside of me that I know will not be extinguished. I am hoping to start raising money, and turning this foundation into something great. I want to show my son the importance of paying it forward to others who need support, and help. So far, God has given me the gift of time: I am choosing to use my time in this way.
